Pre-Course: Diagnostic Test & Customized Study Plan

Before starting the intensive class, participants will take a TOEIC Diagnostic Test to assess their initial abilities in the two main sections: Listening and Reading.
The test results will serve as the basis for creating a personalized study plan, ensuring that the material studied aligns with the participant’s target score and goals (career, study, or job promotion)

The initial phase will introduce participants to:

  • The official TOEIC structure: Listening Comprehension (100 questions) and Reading Comprehension (100 questions)

  • Types of questions in each part (photographs, short dialogues, long readings, etc.)

  • The use of TOEIC in professional and academic contexts

  • The scoring system (score range 10–990)

The main focus is on deepening the two key TOEIC skills:

Listening:

  • Identifying context and speakers in conversations

  • Strategies for guessing answers from intonation and keywords

  • Practice listening to typical business and office conversations

Reading:

  • Skimming and scanning texts quickly

  • Answering questions based on emails, memos, advertisements, and reports

  • Frequently appearing grammar and vocabulary

This session includes practice questions covering all parts of the TOEIC, with additional focus on:

  • Grammar and common sentence structures used in the workplace

  • Techniques to avoid common question traps
